Olapis is operated by LAUNCHPAD TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD ACN 685 218 660, an Australian private company. In this policy, "Olapis", "we", "us", and "our" refer to LAUNCHPAD TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD. "You" means the person using Olapis, or the business or organization using Olapis through its users.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard personal information when you use Olapis, including our website, app, public beta, support channels, and related services.
Contact us at privacy@olapis.com for privacy questions or requests.
Our Terms of Service govern your use of Olapis.
Scope
Olapis is an AI content creation product for individuals and teams. Users can create projects, upload reference material, write prompts and notes, generate content, collaborate with team members, and use AI-assisted tools inside a workspace.
For account, billing, security, analytics, website, and support data, we usually decide how and why that information is processed. For content that a business customer or its users upload, create, or generate inside a workspace, we may process that content on behalf of that customer, subject to the terms that apply to the customer's use of Olapis.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide to us, information created through use of the service, and information collected automatically.
Some information is needed to create an account, authenticate you, administer a workspace, or process a payment. If you do not provide information needed for a feature, we may be unable to provide that feature. Other information, such as optional profile details, is your choice to provide.
Account and profile information
We collect information such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication details, workspace memberships, organization details, invitations, roles, permissions, and session information.
Sign in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and authentication information. We store this information in our application database to authenticate you, create and manage your account, and display your profile. We use and disclose this information for the purposes described in this policy, including to service providers as described in "How We Disclose Information" below.
Workspace and project information
We collect information you and your workspace create in Olapis, such as project names, brand details, campaign details, prompts, notes, comments, Creative Skills, agent chats, model settings, task history, and collaboration data.
Customer content
Customer content includes files, text, media, prompts, references, generated outputs, comments, notes, chat messages, metadata, and other material submitted to or created in Olapis by you or your workspace.
Customer content may include personal information if you or your users include it in uploads, prompts, notes, comments, files, or generated outputs. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to submit customer content to Olapis.
Uploaded and generated media
We collect and store uploaded and generated media, such as images, video, audio, documents, thumbnails, previews, scene data, audio segments, descriptions, embeddings, and related technical metadata.
Billing and transaction information
We collect billing account information, subscription details, plan information, usage and credit information, invoices, payment status, and payment provider references. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; Olapis receives billing records and limited payment-method information.
Communications
We collect information you send to us through support, privacy requests, contact forms, sales enquiries, email, or similar channels. This may include your name, email address, company, phone number, message content, and related metadata.
Information from others
We may receive information from other sources, such as login providers, billing providers, workspace administrators, invited users, and service providers. For example, if you sign in with a third-party account, we may receive information needed to authenticate you, such as your email address and account identifier.
Usage, device, analytics, and logs
We collect information about how Olapis is used, such as pages viewed, features used, clicks, events, session activity, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, identifiers, error logs, performance data, and security logs.
We use PostHog for product analytics and may use its session replay tools to understand product usage, diagnose issues, improve workflows, and support users. We may send PostHog account identifiers, name, email address, workspace identifiers, and usage events to associate activity with an account or workspace. Session replay may record interactions such as clicks, pointer movements, and scrolls, as well as content displayed on a page. Event properties may include project names, block names, and file names. Our replay configuration masks form input values; this does not mean all displayed content or event properties are masked.
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, session replay, and service operation. Authentication and security technologies help keep you signed in and protect your account. Analytics and replay technologies help us understand and improve product use. You can control some of these technologies through your browser or device settings. Our Privacy Policy does not itself constitute consent to technologies for which applicable law requires consent.

AI and Customer Content
Olapis uses AI services to provide core product features. This includes generation, editing, enrichment, asset understanding, search, Olapis workflows, and similar functionality.
Uploaded media may be analyzed automatically to create descriptions, embeddings, scene information, and other metadata used for search and product features, including before you start a generation.
Olapis does not own or operate its own foundation models. We may send prompts, uploads, generated outputs, metadata, and related customer content to third-party AI model and infrastructure providers when needed to provide the service.
We may access and use customer content to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve Olapis. Access by our personnel is limited to authorized purposes, such as support, security, abuse prevention, debugging, legal compliance, and product improvement.
We do not train Olapis-owned foundation models on customer content. Olapis does not currently own its own foundation models. Customer content may still be processed by third-party AI providers under their applicable service terms and account settings.
We do not sell customer content. We do not use customer content for advertising or retargeting.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content generated for other users. You should review outputs before using them.
Sensitive Information
Olapis is not designed for sensitive personal information unless you have the right to provide it and it is necessary for your use of the service. Sensitive information may include health information, government identifiers, financial account details, precise biometric information, information about children, and other information that receives special protection under privacy laws.
If you upload media that contains faces, voices, or other identifying details, we process that media as customer content. Olapis is not intended for biometric identification unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific feature.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information and customer content to the following categories of recipients.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, storage, databases, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, logging, email delivery, billing, payments, search, task processing, media processing, AI model access, and other infrastructure needed to operate Olapis.
These providers may process personal information and customer content for the services they provide to us, subject to the terms that apply to those providers and any applicable agreement with us.
For business customers, additional data processing terms or a subprocessor list may be provided under the applicable agreement.
AI and media providers
We may disclose prompts, uploaded files, generated outputs, references, media URLs, metadata, and related content to AI model, media generation, enrichment, embedding, and processing providers so that requested features can work.
Workspace users and administrators
Information in a workspace may be visible to other users in that workspace, including workspace owners, administrators, collaborators, and invited users. They may see content such as project activity, prompts, files, outputs, comments, profile details, and usage within the workspace.
Public Creative Skills
If your workspace is eligible to publish a Creative Skill and you choose to do so, its published title, description, publisher attribution, and example media may be visible to other users and visitors on public pages and in search results. Published instructions are not displayed on the public page, but are made available to agents when another user selects the skill for a chat. Associated reference media may be copied into that user's workspace through the feature.
Review the material you publish and make sure you have permission to share any personal information or client material it contains. Unpublishing removes the skill from future discovery and its public page, but does not remove material already used in chats, copied into other workspaces, or obtained by visitors. We handle requests concerning personal information in that material in accordance with applicable law.
Billing and payment providers
We use Autumn to manage subscriptions, seats, usage, credits, and top-ups, and Stripe to process payments. These providers process account, billing, transaction, and usage information needed to provide those services.
Professional advisers and legal recipients
We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, government authorities, or other parties where we reasonably believe disclosure is required or appropriate for legal, security, compliance, dispute, or safety reasons.
Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that process.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell customer content. We do not use customer content for advertising or retargeting.
Third-Party Websites and Services
Olapis may contain links to third-party websites, apps, platforms, or services. This policy does not apply to those third parties. Their own privacy policies govern how they collect, use, and disclose information.
Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information and customer content for as long as needed to provide Olapis, maintain accounts and workspaces, keep the product reliable and secure, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support billing, tax, audit, fraud prevention, and security requirements.
Removing a project or Library item from the app is not necessarily permanent erasure of its underlying content. Some deletion actions hide or unfile content, while assets, related project references, and history remain stored. You can request account deletion or erasure of personal information by email as described below.
For personal information, we assess retention based on the purpose, necessity, sensitivity of the information, and applicable legal requirements. We do not treat product history or technical limitations as an automatic exception to a valid erasure request. Where we must erase personal information, we address relevant active records and copies, including search and service-provider copies where applicable. Information may be retained where applicable law permits or requires it, such as records needed for tax obligations or legal claims.
Backup copies may remain until replaced under the applicable backup schedule. Where immediate erasure from a backup is not possible, personal information subject to a valid erasure request is put beyond ordinary use while awaiting replacement, and the erasure is reapplied if the backup is restored. We explain any applicable retention or deletion limitations when responding to your request.
Privacy requests are handled by email at privacy@olapis.com. There is no self-service account deletion flow at this time.
Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to help protect personal information and customer content. These may include encryption in transit, access controls, limited personnel access, logging, monitoring, vendor security measures, and internal security practices.
No online service is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for controlling access to your workspace.
International Transfers
Olapis is operated from Australia and is offered globally. Personal information and customer content may be processed in Australia, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. At launch, key service infrastructure is primarily located in the United States, while Olapis is operated from Australia.
Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required by law, we take steps intended to support lawful cross-border transfers, such as relying on vendor data processing terms or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or to complain to a privacy regulator.
To request access, correction, export, account deletion, erasure, or another applicable privacy right, email privacy@olapis.com. Describe your request and provide your account email address and the relevant workspace, if applicable. You do not need to submit a form through the app.
We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity and your authority to act for a workspace or organization. We assess the scope of your request and any information that must be retained or protected, including information belonging to other people. We may deny or limit a request only where applicable law permits it.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we decline or limit a request, we will explain our reasons, subject to legal restrictions, and provide information about any applicable right to appeal or complain.
If you are part of a business customer's workspace, we may direct your request to that customer or work with that customer to respond.
You can opt out of non-essential product emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting privacy@olapis.com. Even if you opt out, we may still send service, account, billing, legal, and security messages.
You can control some cookies and similar technologies through your browser or device settings. Some parts of Olapis may not work properly if necessary cookies or local storage are disabled.
Australia
If you are in Australia, you may have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, including rights to request access to and correction of your personal information.
You can contact us at privacy@olapis.com to make a privacy complaint or request. We will review your request and aim to respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the following describes the purposes and legal bases for personal information we process as a controller:
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider those interests against your rights and freedoms. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting privacy@olapis.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
For customer content processed on behalf of a business customer, that customer is responsible for its legal basis and instructions to us, subject to any applicable data processing agreement.
You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port your data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. These rights may be limited in some circumstances.
United States
If you are in a US state with a privacy law that applies to Olapis, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain processing of personal information.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use customer content for advertising or retargeting.
To make a US privacy request, contact privacy@olapis.com. You may be able to use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask for information to verify the request and the agent's authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Where applicable law gives you a right to appeal our decision, you may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting privacy@olapis.com.

Olapis accounts are intended for users aged 18 or older. Individuals under 18 must not create an account or use Olapis. If you believe an individual under 18 has created an account, contact privacy@olapis.com and we will take appropriate steps.
